A lawyer by trade, Mr. Peguese spent the last 17 years with the Bay Area Rapid Transit District dealing in Real Estate. From 1995 to 2002 he was part of the team who acquired the land needed to expand the BART System to the San Francisco Airport (SFO). Mr. Peguese was a key player in acquisition and relocations of residential and commercial realty. After 2003 to the present, he has become one of BART’s Principals in the implementation of transit oriented Development (Sustainable Transit Communities).

Bruno pulls from an extensive background in the Law and boasts over 30 years as a licensed Private Investigator. He has had working experience with a number of corporate law firms including Morrisson & Forester; Arnelle & Hastie and Bronson, Bronson and McKinnon.

Bruno proudly serves on the mediation panel of the Department of Police Accountability, whose mission is to promptly, fairly and impartially investigate complaints against San Francisco police officers, make policy recommendations regarding police practices and conduct periodic audits of the San Francisco Police Department.

Growth Sector

As a board member at Growth Sector, Bruno facilitates, in collaboration with community colleges, foundations and employers such as NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Lawrence Livermore Lab, the re-imagining of traditional educational models and creation of new, innovative pathways for under served students to prepare for engineering and computer science opportunities.
